I was invited to speak today during Career Week at the Oakhurst Elementary School in Largo, Florida. My audience was mostly second, fourth and fifth grades and they all were very excited to hear about my passions of horses, dogs and writing!
My Power Point presentation showed pictures of what type of horses I owned as a teen and how a special horse named Fawn began my first goal - to own a stable. She also inspired me to start writing and being a published author - my second goal.
I gave them tips on the Craft of Writing and answered questions about my horses, my dog Woogie and my books.
I give free School Visits & Writing Workshops for schools and libraries in Florida or any state when I'm in the area during my book tours.
