Writing Seminar and Lunch With the Author is for teenagers and adults who are interested in creative writing and becoming published. It will be held on Wednesday, July 30, from 11 – 2 pm at the Golden Corral Restaurant on Wards Rd. in Lynchburg.

Sharon Miner has been a published writer for 15 years and encourages others to pursue their writing ambitions. She has authored six books and has had articles in Dog Fancy, Blood Horse, Mid-Atlantic Thoroughbred and Horse News. She was a field correspondent for two newspapers in northeast Pennsylvania. Seating is limited for this event and the registration fee of $25 is due by July 23rd. The fee is for the seminar only. Participants may enjoy the lunch buffet.
