Hanover Book Festival
Saturday, August 2, 10 am - 2 pm
I'll be selling and signing my books, and chatting with visitors!
Presented by the Hanover Writer's Club, this event features book signings by numerous authors, Writing Workshops, Door Prizes and loads of fun for the family! It will be held at the VFW POST 9808 on 7168 Flag Lane in Mechanicsville, Va.

Customer Appreciation Day at Wolf Creek Tack & Feed

My Book Signing and Interviews for Horse Stories
Janelle Weast holds this annual event every year and I've been invited to participate! Located on Rt. 460 just east of Appomattox, Va. Wolf Creek carries supplies and feed for horses as well as hunting/fishing supplies. Call for details: 434-352-9653

I'm speaking at this educational event for teens and adults

Writing Seminar & Lunch With the Author

Writing Seminar and Lunch With the Author is for teenagers and adults who are interested in creative writing and becoming published. It will be held on Wednesday, July 30, from 11 – 2 pm at the Golden Corral Restaurant on Wards Rd. in Lynchburg.

Topics to be covered include:
· Writing Tips for All Formats
· Creative Query Letters
· Guidelines for Submissions – Magazine Editors & Book Publishers
· The Publishing Industry Today

Sharon Miner has been a published writer for 15 years and encourages others to pursue their writing ambitions. She has authored six books and has had articles in Dog Fancy, Blood Horse, Mid-Atlantic Thoroughbred and Horse News. She was a field correspondent for two newspapers in northeast Pennsylvania. Miner writes for PhelpsSports.com and has conducted writing seminars in eight states. Visit her Web site at http://www.sharonminer.com/ to learn more about the author and her books.


Seating is limited for this event and the registration fee of $25 is due by July 23rd. The fee is for the seminar only. Participants may enjoy the lunch buffet.
