2011 Summer Programs

We'll be visiting libraries, non-profit pet events, handicapped riding programs, equine rescue stables etc. to promote reading to the children of America. We'll start in Florida in July, and then head west.

The first week of August we'll visit Jackson, MS area and Texas. From there we'll travel to the west coast, then go north. Our return to Florida is flexible.

Any libraries, stables or animal rescue shelters in these areas are encouraged to contact me if you'd like a FREE author visit. My program can be adjustable to the venue, audience and time frame. Some of the topics/activities I offer include:
  • Talk on creating and achieving goals
  • Writing and publishing tips
  • Readings & signings of my 8 books - see http://SharonMiner.com
  • Power Point presentation with Woogie's Travels books for young readers
  • Craft projects for children - decorating real horseshoes with bling & making dog puppets
  • Booth with horse & dog novelties
I'll also be interviewing horse owners along the way for my 5th book in the Beloved Horses series. For more information about being included, see http://horsebookreviews.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2011-01-31T12%3A36%3A00-05%3A00&max-results=4
